Before issuing a pendant for resident or staff use, it should be added to the Vigil software and tested to ensure it alerts the correct room and sends a message to the appropriate notification devices.
To test the device:
- Install the battery with words on the battery facing you
- Go to Vigil Remotes’ Active Calls Screen
- Press the pendant. Ensure the blue LED turns on.
- Confirm the correct information appears on the Active Calls Screen
- Confirm the correct notification devices received the call
- Reset the pendant
- Give the resident their new pendant and show them how to use it.
