Responding to a Wireless Sensor Outlet Call

Sensor outlets need to be added to the Vigil Remote software before use.

Calls Generated by the Sensor Outlet

  • When the resident gets off the bed or chair sensor you will receive an Sensor Outlet – Bed or Sensor Outlet – Chair call.
  • When the incontinence sensor detects moisture you will receive an Incontinence Bed call.
  • If the adapter cable comes unplugged you will receive a BSO Cord Out call.

Responding to a Sensor Outlet Call

  • Respond to the location reported on the active call screen or notification message.
  • Assist the resident as needed and then cancel the call:
    • Turn the switch to Cancel (OFF) for at least 5 seconds to ensure that the system knows that the call has been canceled.
    • Turn the switch back to Ready (ON) after the resident is settled or the incontinence sensor is dried.
