**Note: The following instructions only work for ECO RoamAlert. If you have ID RoamAlert, click here. ID RoamAlert requires you to add resident tags to the Vigil software whereas ECO does not.
Reset Code: This is the code used to turn off the alarm at the alerting door. This code will also remove the RoamAlert call from the Active Calls screen in Vigil Remote and stop the call from going to staff notification devices. The default code is 1939#
Bypass Code: This is the code used if you would like to take a tagged resident through a monitored door without triggering a full alarm. The default code is 1938#
You will need to follow the instructions below at each keypad that you want the code to change at. This means you can have different keypad codes at different doors. Don’t forget to test the changes you make!
To change the Reset Code:
- Press 987654#
- Press 2#
- Enter new 4 digit code and press #. You will hear a beep to indicate the code has been changed.
To change the Bypass Code:
- Press 987654#
- Press 1#
- Enter new 4 digit code and press #. You will hear a longer beep to indicate the code has been changed.
