Use Maintenance Notes to enter information on your maintenance calls. You can select from a list of resolutions, make free form notes, search for a specific wireless device to see its maintenance history and print your results. See also: How to Search Maintenance Notes
To access Maintenance Notes, you must be logged in to Vigil Remote.
Your default screen will be empty. To make a note follow the instructions below:
If you would like to make notes on active maintenance calls, click the Include Active Calls box and click Refresh. Otherwise, adjust the date range and click Refresh. This will result in historical maintenance calls to be shown.
Click on the + sign beside the call you would like to note.
A screen will appear with your note options:
- Select one of the Problem Resolutions and/or type in the box under Additional Information.
- Click Save
The note will show beside the call along with your problem resolution and any additional information.
