Wireless Sensor Outlets are battery powered and will require battery changes from time to time. Vigil has tested and qualified two brands of 1/2 AA batteries for best performance and recommends them for use in Vigil brand devices.
To change the battery:
Take the battery door cover off.- remove the old battery, and insert the new one respecting the polarity (+ and – symbols).
- Test the sensor outlet and verify it is working with the fresh battery.
