How to raise an Out of Bed call
To raise an Out of Bed or Out of Chair call for the Memory Care System, you must enable the Out of Bed room rule in the Vigil software. Then follow the instructions below:
Connect the bed or chair sensor to the adaptor cable, then plug the adaptor cable into the socket on the wall.
- Put pressure on the bed/chair sensor and notice the green light on the socket on the wall that the sensor is plugged into. The green light indicates the pressure has been registered.
- Remove pressure from the sensor. In approximately 5 seconds (depending on the software settings), the green light will go out and a call will go to the Vigil Active Calls screen as well as the appropriate notification devices.
How to clear an Out of Bed call
To clear an Out of Bed call use the Staff Cancel Switch on the outside of the room. Turn the switch OFF for a minimum of 5 seconds, then turn it back on again. This will cancel the call.
