Changing Community Notification Settings in Vigil Mobile

The Community Notification Settings admin feature allows you to select different alert sounds of Vigil Call Types in Vigil Mobile. You may want to do this if you want different notification sounds to distinguish between different alerts to Vigil Mobile. For example, using a different sound for Nurse Calls and Smoke Alarms.

 

 

Login to Vigil Mobile. The logged in user must have admin access.

Scroll down to Community Notification Settings.

Each call type is listed with the sound set to “default”. Touch Default to see the alternative sound options. Users may select one of 9 available alert sounds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Touch Save Notification Sounds

 

Test a call to ensure your chosen sound works as intended. For instance, if you changed the emergency pull stations to Aircraft Alarm, go to a pull station and raise a call, listen for the sound, and then reset the pull station.
