Raising/Clearing Alerts on a Wireless Nurse Call/Assist

Nurse Call/Assist devices are used by residents to call for assistance. The green nurse call button is intended to be pressed by residents to call a nurse or care aid. The yellow assist button is intended for staff to press if they require additional assistance. Both types of call are canceled by pressing the white cancel button.

Some Nurse Call/Assist devices are also equipped with a call cord socket. A compatible nurse call, pad call, or breath call can be connected to this socket for use. All calls activated through the socket will raise as nurse calls. If the connected device becomes unplugged a NCA Cord Out message will alert through the system until either the cord is reconnected or the cancel button is pressed.
