Setting up a Wireless Sensor Outlet

Vigil Wireless Sensor Outlets need to be added to the Vigil Remote software before use.

Instructions For Use

  • Remove the battery tab under the battery cover so the battery makes contact.

  • Plug the sensor into the adapter cord, slip a ring over the jack, and then plug the adapter cord into either socket on the sensor outlet.

  • Securely attach the sensor outlet to the bed/chair using the Velcro strap. Make sure to tuck the cords away to avoid a tripping hazard.
  • Set the delay in seconds (0/5/30) according to each resident’s needs. The delay is the number of seconds between the resident’s weight coming off the pressure pad and the call being raised.
  • Turn the switch to Ready (ON). Always leave the sensor outlet Ready unless canceling a call.
  • Cancel any calls from the Sensor Outlet by moving the switch to Cancel (OFF). Be sure to put the switch back to Ready before you leave the sensor outlet.
