Raising/Clearing calls with a Vitality Band

Vitality Bands are used by residents to call for assistance. Alerts from Vitality Bands show on the Vigil Active Calls Screen and notification devices such as pagers or phones. The call identifies the resident and provides their general location so that staff may respond and provide help. Calls must be canceled on the Vitality Band that raised the call.

 

To Place a Call

  1. Push the button in the center of the blue band
  2. Watch for the LED to turn on
  3. If the LED flashes BLUE your call has been placed
  4. If the LED flashes RED your call has not gone through. Try again and contact Vigil Support if you continue to have problems.

To Cancel a Call

  1. Double click the call button, holding down the button on the second click. Press >> Release >> Press >> Hold for 6 seconds until you see the GREEN light.
  2. The light will flash GREEN to confirm the cancellation. If the light continues to flash blue try the cancel again.
