Vigil has two different sets of wireless products.
Vigil Wireless became widely available in 2005 and is a 900MHz based wireless product. Development of Vigil Wireless products ended in 2015, although replacements and parts will be available through 2025.
Vigil Vitality Wireless became available in 2013 and is a 2.4GHz based mesh wireless product. The mesh style networking allows for more accurate targeting of wireless devices and longer battery life when compared to the older Vigil Wireless offering. Vitality Wireless is currently Vigil’s main wireless product.
Most of Vigil’s wireless products are available for both wireless systems. Please note that while the devices look the same they have different internal components and are not cross compatible. A Wireless Nurse Call device intended for use with the 900MHz Vigil Wireless system will not work with the 2.4GHz Vigil Vitality Wireless system.
The Vigil Mini Pendant and Vitality Band products are only available for use with Vitality Wireless systems.
